Stonebrooke provided preliminary and final design services for Blue Earth County for the urban reconstruction of CSAH 82 (South Victory Drive) in the City of Mankato. Stonebrooke conducted safety analyses at intersections along the corridor and determined the need for turn lanes at each. We worked with the County through the preliminary design process to vet locations for added raised concrete medians and to urbanize the roadway, which was a rural section with ditches between the roadway and the existing trails. We provided ADA design recommendations and improved pedestrian accessibility by installing accessible pedestrian signals at the two signalized intersections.
