Stonebrooke was selected to provide preliminary and final design engineering consulting services for modifying the intersection of CSAH 50 (202nd Street) and Hamburg Avenue in the City of Lakeville. Development in this area has occurred rapidly since the previous reconstruction in 2019, and with this development, there has been an increase in crashes at the CSAH 50/Hamburg Avenue intersection. This prompted Dakota County to complete a traffic analysis of the intersection, ultimately resulting in a recommendation of a roundabout as the preferred intersection control type.
