CSAH 13 Reconstruction

We delivered public outreach, preliminary design, final design, and construction inspection services on the CSAH 13 Reconstruction Project in Waseca. This project involved nearly one mile of full roadway and utility reconstruction, and 2 blocks of mill and overlay.

Located in a main residential district, we worked closely with local residents throughout the design and construction process. In addition, we prepared a feasibility report with detailed cost estimates for the City to use in assessment hearings. Our public outreach on this project included planning and facilitating two public meetings, presenting at two Waseca City Council meetings, and several meetings with private utilities and property owners. Our outreach materials included project layouts, mailings, e-newsletters, a project web site, and comprehensive PowerPoint presentations for local agencies and the general public.

Beyond listening to and working with local residents, we also went through extensive measures to ensure we protected the adjacent Lake, which added environmental concerns along with access challenges.
