The I-35W Minnesota River Bridge project provided a new bridge replacing the old I-35W bridge over the Minnesota River between the cities of Burnsville in Bloomington. The project also consisted of reconstructing the I-35W bridge spanning 106th Street, reconstructing the roadway between Cliff Road and 106th Street, constructing a trail between Black Dog Road and Lyndale Avenue, and improving signing, lighting, and drainage.
