McLeod County selected Stonebrooke to analyze this intersection to determine the preferred intersection improvement for this project. Following the initial intersection analysis, Stonebrooke was selected to collect updated traffic counts, prepare an ICE Report to be approved by State Aid and design a roundabout at the intersection. This project partnered with the City of Hutchinson to prepare the design of improvement of CR 25 (Jefferson Street) extending north from the proposed roundabout in preparation for a future county turnback. The project included the design of the roundabout and the urbanization of CR 25 (Jefferson Street) to the north. The project also included ADA-compliant off-street pedestrian facilities, storm sewer, and stormwater treatment.
