Stonebrooke Engineering provided preliminary design, detail design, and construction inspection/administration/staking services for the reconstruction of Washington Avenue and CSAH 25 (Adams Street) in Hutchinson. This project included sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, curb and gutter, concrete paving, cost estimates, specifications, lighting, streetscaping, and ADA compliant pedestrian improvements. The existing Washington Avenue roadway was reconstructed to develop consistent traffic operation and parking usage between Main Street and Adams Street. This project included State Aid and was built in multiple stages with full closures with detours and portions constructed under traffic. This was also a turn-key project in which we were able to engage the stakeholders at each step, from planning and design through to construction and project close-out.
