CSAH 25 (16th Street) Corridor in Rochester

Our work on this project began when Olmsted County selected our firm to perform an intersection control evaluation and to develop concept layouts, traffic analysis, and cost estimates examining two signalized and one roundabout alternative for intersection control at the intersection of CSAH 25 (16th Street) at CR 125 (Mayowood Road) in Rochester. Our traffic analysis included benefit/cost analysis, capacity analysis, pedestrian facilities, traffic/mode simulation, downstream gap analysis associated with the roundabout options, and traffic signal warrant studies. Based on our work on that phase of the project, we were selected by the City of Rochester to provide preliminary design, final design, traffic engineering, and surveying services on the larger CSAH 25 (16th Street) Corridor from Salem Road to South Broadway. We are currently designing two traffic signals and providing upgrades to an additional four traffic signals along this corridor, in addition to designing roadway and water resources improvements.
