CSAH 22 (70th Street) Management and Safety

Washington County selected Stonebrooke Engineering to provide preliminary and final design on approximately 3 miles of CSAH 22 from US 61 to Isleton Ave S in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. In addition, we are also under contract to update and prepare a corridor study along 6 miles of CSAH 22 from US 61 to TH 95 (Manning Avenue). Both of these tasks were built upon the previous CSAH 22 corridor study that our firm completed for the City and County in 2010. The 2010 corridor study included operational and safety analysis of existing conditions, project NO BUILD and BUILD conditions, assessment of intersection and stopping sight distances, development of a concept layout, and before and after visualizations for use at public meetings.

Our traffic engineering services on this project and study included traffic operations and safety analysis at 22 key intersections, intersection control evaluations, intersection traffic control design, traffic impact studies, traffic forecasting, signal justification reports, capacity analysis, and a feasibility study with cost estimates.

Our public outreach services on this project included project newsletters, multiple open houses, elected official workshops, stakeholder meetings, and branding, including the project logo. We also created a project web site and managed project-related social media content.
