Steele County selected Stonebrooke Engineering to lead this turn-key multi-phase project from concept to construction. This project included full roadway reconstruction with widening, and also narrowing, by eliminating an unnecessary parking lane to shorten pedestrian crossing distances. We provided geometric improvements for heavy truck volumes, extensive streetscaping, retaining walls, drainage and storm ponding, and the introduction of a multi-use trail. The project also included the CSAH 12 Bridge replacement over the Straight River. The project was constructed with a full road closure and detour. Local access was maintained for the businesses and residents along the project. Our surveying services on this project included topographic surveys and construction staking.
