Survey Crew Chief

What we’re looking for in talent and experience.

We’re seeking a qualified Land Survey Crew Chief to join our team in our Burnsville, MN office. We’re especially interested if you excel in several or all of the following:

Boundary surveying and construction layouts. Applicants need to have passed or be capable of passing the NSPS Certified Survey Technician–Level III Construction exam. Minimum of four years surveying experience preferred. Road and bridge experience preferred, but not required. Experience with Trimble GPS and Robotics, Trimble Business Center, GEOPAK, and AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus. Overtime may be required during heavy construction season.

    If you’ve gotten this far, we know these are things you have, and you probably have them in spades. But just in case:

    • Knowledge of CADD software, preferably MicroStation
    • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
    • Experience supervising staff
