We have an exciting opportunity for a Bridge/Structural Engineer to join our team in our Burnsville, MN office. As a member of our team, you will work on various bridge projects for public and private clients, while helping to shape the future of our growing Bridge Design group. We’re especially interested if you excel in several or all of the following:

  • Bridge design
  • Hydraulic Design
  • Bridge approach Design
  • Bridge load ratings

What we’re looking for in you.

  • As a Stonebrooke team member, you’ll need a combination of some or all of the following attributes:
  • A work hard, play hard attitude and a desire to help guide the growth of Stonebrooke
  • A commitment to engineering and advocating for reasonable and responsible solutions
  • 3+ years of bridge design experience
  • Experience designing highway bridges utilizing AASHTO LRFD Specifications and preferably experience with MnDOT practices
  • Proficiency with Microstation and/or AutoCAD as well as structural design and analysis programs such as LEAP Products, AASHTOWare BrR, MDX, etc.
  • B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Experience performing bridge load ratings (Preferred)
  • Bridge Inspection and evaluation experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to work with other team members on project tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Minnesota professional engineering license (or able to obtain)
  • Bridge Construction and Inspection experience a plus
  • Bridge Inspection Team Leader certification a plus

    Stuff we’re stopping short of assuming.

    If you’ve gotten this far, we know these are things you have, and you probably have them in spades. But just in case:

    • Knowledge of CADD software, preferably MicroStation
    • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
