Bridge Drafting Technician

What we’re looking for in talent and experience.

Stonebrooke Engineering is looking to hire a Bridge Drafting Technician with 2-10 years of experience. This position involves performing structural drafting work and geometric layout on bridge projects, preparing plans , performing quantity calculations, following MnDOT design standards and agency technical requirements, and performing other assignments related to structural drafting on municipal and transportation projects. Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software is required. Experience with construction observation a plus. We’re especially interested if you excel in several or all of the following:

  • Drafting bridge plans
  • Drafting road plans
  • Geometric layout
  • Quantity calculations
  • Other transportation structural drafting such as retaining walls, box culverts, etc.

      Stuff we’re stopping short of assuming.

      If you’ve gotten this far, we know these are things you have, and you probably have them in spades. But just in case:

      • Knowledge of CADD software, preferably MicroStation
      • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
